A separate session is planned on Thursday November 18th at 6pm. Dr. Candace Wheeler, UH Hilo’s Distance Learning Coordinator, will discuss upcoming programs including bachelor’s degree programs in Nursing, Psychology, the Indigenous Teacher Education certificate program, and a master’s degree program in Indigenous Language & Culture Education. This workshop will be held on the UH Maui College campus in Kahului in the Laulima building, room 108.

UH’s Distance Learning program provides students across the state of Hawaii with the opportunity to take classes offered by any UH campus. Distance learning online classes can be delivered anytime and anywhere. Programs are facilitated through the UH Center, Maui which offers face-to-face academic support. These workshops offer the unique opportunity
to ask questions about UH’s distance programs in an informal face-to-face environment. UH’s Distance Learning program has helped nearly one thousand Maui residents get their advanced degrees without leaving Maui.

Advance registration is not required. For more information, contact the University of Hawai’i Center, Maui, at 984-3525, email [email protected], or visit the website
