The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Niihau, Kauai and Oahu, in effect from 6 o’clock tonight through Friday afternoon.

A slow moving cold front and increasingly unstable conditions will support the development of heavy showers and thunderstorms over Kauai County starting tonight, and Oahu on Thursday.

A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is very dangerous. Later forecasts will be issued as conditions develop.
