Cheyenne Ehrlich Launches Online Meditation Course
by Katie McMillan
Cheyenne Ehrlich, internet entrepreneur and owner of Paia Meditation, has launched an interactive online meditation program called Learn to Sit. The program is designed to make meditation, a practice that is scientifically proven to reduce stress, increase brain function, and lower blood pressure, more accessible.
Ehrlich states, “When you go to a gym, you have a trainer that assesses your current fitness level and designs a program just for you. Learn to Sit is designed much the same way, as if you were hiring a personal trainer for your mind. You start by filling out an online questionnaire and the course structure will then vary depending on how you answer the questions.”
Learn to Sit is a comprehensive program that gives you the tools to discover how your mind works. Ehrlich states, “The overwhelming majority of your life is nothing more than you and your inner dialogue. Whatever you create for yourself in your life is simply you acting out what’s going on inside your mind. So it just makes sense that learning how to change your relationship to your inner dialogue can change every aspect of your life.”
Learn to Sit is broken up into modules that take between three and ten minutes to complete. This makes it easy for you to fit in the program even if you have a busy schedule. The entire program takes approximately four hours to complete.
Cheyenne Ehrlich was raised in a meditation center, one of the first Tibetan Buddhist centers in the U.S. He was exposed to meditation teachers, scholars and practitioners throughout his childhood. He graduated from Vassar College with a degree in computer science and for the past two decades has focused on incubating early stage Internet companies and studying and practicing meditation. He discovered first-hand how a strong meditation practice greatly influenced his success in business.
