Hawaii’s hottest musicians are joining forces to raise funds for recovery efforts in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.  The Aloha Iapana concert on Maui features world renowned recording artist Keali’i Reichel, along with Willie K, Napua Makua, Amy Hanaiali‘i, Mailani Makainai, Na Palapalai, Kaumakaiwa Kanaka‘ole, Uluwehi Guerrero and more.

The event is planned for Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s A&B Amphitheater and will be hosted by KPOA 93.5 FM’s Morning Goddess, Alaka’i Paleka.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the MACC Box Office at 242-SHOW, or purchasing online at mauiarts.org.

Proceeds will benefit the victims of the tragic events in Japan and will go to the Aloha for Japan Campaign.  Additional donations can be made directly to “Aloha for Japan” at any Bank of Hawaii location.
