Rose Potter and Stacey Muniz show off some of the great finds at Women Helping Women's new ReVive Boutique

ReVive Boutique, which is now open for business, is full of new or lightly worn items is run by a team of volunteers from Women Helping Women. Sales of all merchandise go directly to support programs and emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence.

In addition, ReVive Boutique will be a Vocational Training Program for women. According to Women Helping Women Executive Director Stacey Muniz, “Many women need to re-enter the work field after finding themselves left to their own devises due to failed violent relationships. The boutique will offer opportunity to train women in retail sales, customer service, stock and inventory, merchandising and marketing.”

Clothing items that are donated to Women Helping Women first go to women that are leaving the shelter. Anything that is left over will go to ReVive Boutique, where a team of fashion experts including Malia Vandervoort of Biasa Rose in Paia and Rose Potter of Indigo and Maui Hands, will hand select items that show quality and potential for resale.

The launch of ReVive Boutique was truly a team effort. Numerous community members and business donated their services and products to make Revive a reality including Maui Air Conditioning, the Maui Carpenter’s Unions, Sears, Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, Habitat for Humanity, ASAP, and Danoosha Design.
