This week Native Hawaiians on Lanai will have an opportunity to provide feedback to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) at a community forum as well as attend a meeting held by the Board of Trustees.

The forum is designed for OHA officials to listen to concerns in the community as well as outline their strategic priorities for all Native Hawaiians in the state. Agenda items for the community meeting include an update on Hooulu Lahui Aloha and presentations from Na Pua Noeau Lanai, Lanai Culture and Heritage Center, and the Friends of Lanai.

The Community Meeting will be held Wednesday, June 15, starting at 6:30 pm in the Lanai High and Elementary School Cafeteria.

The OHA Board of Trustees Meeting will be held the next morning, Thursday, June 16, at 9 am in the Koele Lodge Library.
