Maui Firefighters Kino and Sambrano Promoted

The Maui Fire Department announced the promotion of two firefighters to the rank of Fire Fighter III.  The promotions of Kaulana Kino and Chad Sambrano take effect on July 1, 2011.

Firefighter Kino is a nine year veteran of the Maui Fire Department.  He previously held assignments in Ho’olehua, Kahului, and in Lahaina.  For the last two years, he was assigned to the Hazardous Materials Company in Kahului. In his new capacity, Kin0 will be assigned to the Department’s Training Bureau.

Firefighter Sambrano is also a nine year veteran of the MFD.  He was previously assigned to the Lahaina and Kahului stations. Sambrano’s new assignment will be at the Ho’olehua Station on Molokai.
