State Senator Slom Brings Smart Business Forum To Maui

SmartBusiness Hawaii (SBH) will hold a special business luncheon forum on Maui on Thursday, July 21, at 11:30 a.m, to 1:30 p.m. at the Maui Kahili Golf Course’s Nahele Banquet Room.

SBH is hosting the event to share some marketing and smart business tips and advice for Maui business owners.

SBH President, and State Senator, Sam Slom, will discuss recent legislative business and tax changes and their impact on Maui businesses. Matt Longfellow, owner of Valpak of Hawaii, is the featured speaker and will be discussing, “It’s not Rocket Science – Simple Marketing Concepts You Can Use Today.”


Some of you may remember the business organization known as Small Business Hawaii. Small Business Hawaii and SmartBusiness Hawaii are the same organization; the name was changed about 2 years ago.  Currently, there are 850 members statewide.


Seating is limited. Maui SBH members and their guests are invited. The public is welcome if advance paid reservations are made and space is available.

A full lunch buffet will be provided by the Kahili Restaurant. Networking will be encouraged. The cost for SBH members: $15. Non-Members: $25. Please RSVP no later than July 15 with Darlyn at 396-1724.
