The Maui Department of Water Supply issued a water conservation advisory to Ulupalakua water customers.

Department personnel are working on a 12-inch main line in Ulupalakua on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

County authorities say consumers from Tedeschi Vineyard to the Kanaio area will experience very low pressure or possibly no water until the work is complete.

Consumers are asked to put some water aside, and to conserve water as much as possible during this time.
