Maui Officer Arrested for Alleged Abuse of Wife

A five-year veteran with the Maui Police Department was arrested on Thursday for the alleged physical abuse of his wife.
The incident was reported at around 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 24, at a home in Haiku.
Christopher P. Kealoha, 28, was released after posting $1,000 bail.
The officer is currently on leave and the case has been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for further review.
