Maui police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 69-year-old Maui man, who went missing on Monday.

Michael Martin was last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2012 when he left for a doctor’s appointment in Wailuku.

Maui police say he failed to return home to Haiku, and checks with his known associates proved negative.

Maui police say Martin’s wife, Brooke, reported last seeing her husband when he left for the appointment.

Martin was driving a 2006 silver Volkswagen vehicle with the Hawaii license plate number MNW 796, according to Maui Police.

Martin is described as a Caucasian male with a fair complexion and small build.  He is 5′-9″ tall, weighs about 123 pounds, is mostly bald with some grey hair and brown eyes.

It is unknown what type of clothing he was wearing at the time he went missing.

Anyone with information on Martin’s whereabouts is asked to call Maui Police, (808) 244-6320.
