Motorists are advised of a road closure in South Maui this Saturday to accommodate Maui’s Parade of Whales.

The closure will be along South Kihei Road from Alanui Keali’i Drive to Waimahaihai Street from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday February 16.

The parade is the official launch to the 33rd Annual World Whale Day Celebration.

Musicians, dancers, floats and costumed characters will be part of the parade. Maui County Mayor Alan Arakawa will serve as the Parade Grand Marshal.
