There were a total of 5 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between February 17 to 23, 2013.

The cases include (1) incident in Kahului, (2) in Kihei, (1) in Makawao, and (1) in Wailea.

Two of the five vehicles have since been recovered.

Kahului:

  • Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, 3:43 p.m.:  Dairy Road at the Maui Harley Davidson.  2003 Red and Black Honda Motorcycle.  License: 057MVL.  VIN: JH2RD0613M300117.

Kihei:

  • Sunday, FEb. 17, 2013, 6:30 a.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Azeka Mauka center near Stella Blues.  2010 Blue and Silver moped.
  • Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, 9:30 p.m.:  Mehani Circle.  2000 Black BMV.  RECOVERED.

Makawao:

  • Sunday, FEb. 17, 2013, 1:16 a.m.:  Ulele Street.  1998 Silver Toyota Tacoma.  RECOVERED.

Wailea:

  • Sunday, FEb. 17, 2013, 9:30 a.m.:  Wailea Alanui Drive at the Shops at Wailea.  2011 Black and Silver Jonway Group moped.  VIN: L8YTCAPF7BL030345.
