The state Sheriff’s Division has issued a bulletin to airline carriers to be on the lookout for a 34-year-old felon considered armed and dangerous.

Richard Kauvaka is wanted for violating parole and is suspected of felony crimes.

He may be attempting to leave for Maui or California, the bulletin said. Kauvaka has been convicted of crimes ranging from second-degree robbery to drug promotion to bail jumping.

He is described as 6-foot-1, 300 pounds, with short hair, a goatee and brown eyes. He has an “R” tattoo  on his left thumb.
