Speakers Announced for Upcoming Maui Democrat Convention

Governor Neil Abercrombie, US Senator Brian Schatz, and State Senator Gil Keith-Agaran will be the featured speakers at the upcoming annual Convention for the Democratic Party of Hawaiʻi on Maui.

The Maui County Committee of the Democratic Party of Hawaii announced the upcoming event planned for 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, at the Maui Tropical Plantation.

The event is being chaired by State Senator Roz Baker of Maui. Event organizers say Hawaiʻi Democratic Party Chair and former Hawaiʻi County mayor, Dante Carpenter, will also be in attendance.

The fee for early registration is $20 until 3 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013, and includes a continental breakfast.
