Residential refuse customers in Haʻikū did not get their trash picked up today due to mechanical problems, County officials said.

Officials with the Solid Waste Division say affected areas include: Kauhikoa Road; Holokai Road; East and West Kuiaha Road; Kaupakalua Road; Pakanu Street; Haʻikū Road; Ulumalu Road; and all surrounding streets.

Pick up is expected to resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013.
