Maui Police Seek Help in Solving Kmart Purse Theft

Maui police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual who allegedly stole a customer’s purse during an incident reported at the Kmart in Kahului.
According to police reports, the incident occurred at 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
Police say the unknown male offender took the purse, which was left unattended within the store.
Police released a store surveillance image showing the alleged offender.

Anyone with information on the theft, or the identity of the individual in the surveillance photo, is asked to call Detective Derrick Delos Santos at (808)244-6437.
