The Maui AIDS Foundation observes World AIDS Day on Sunday, Dec. 1st during an afternoon event at Stella Blues in Kīhei.

The free community event is open to all ages and is intended to raise awareness about HIV/HIDS, and encourage progress in prevention and treatment.

The event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. with complimentary pupus, a no-host bar, and entertainment by Louis & Lewis.

In addition to awareness efforts, the Maui AIDS Foundation also works to maximize the quality of life for those affected, and advocates for improved services.
