The state Department of Transportation has announced two road projects that will impact traffic on Maui roadways this week, between Nov. 30 and Dec. 6, 2013.

Motorists are advised of road work along the Hāna Highway in the East Maui area of Honomanū.

A single-lane closure is planned in the west-bound direction near mile post 14 between Wailua Road and Pāpaʻaʻea Road, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday, Dec. 2 to Friday, Dec. 6.

In West Maui, motorists are advised of ongoing work to repair ocean erosion damage that has undermined the shoulder lane foundation of the Honoapiʻilani Highway between Front Street and Kai Hele Kū Street, fronting Launiupoko State Park.
