The Maui County Office on Aging announced it will offer an EnhanceFitness Instructor Training for older adults in February 2014.

The award-winning program is reportedly designed to be safe and effective for seniors with a wide range of physical abilities.

Classes meet three times a week for hour-long sessions, at various locations around the county with fitness assessments conducted on a regular basis.

“To be eligible for the instructor training, new instructors must already be certified by a nationally recognized fitness organization such a ACSM, ACE, AFAA or the YMCA, and have a current CPR/AED card,” the announcement said.
