Thirty students were included in the latest graduating class from the Core Four Business Planning course hosted by Maui Economic Opportunity, the organization announced.

The new graduates are in addition to the 150 students who completed the program last year.

Organization leaders say this has resulted in “numerous new Maui County businesses starting up and jobs being created.”

As part of the course curriculum, MEO representatives say commercial leaders from Maui reviewed business plans produced by students, and offered guidance to individuals.

The Core Four Business Planning program is a 36-hour course on how to write a business plan. This includes compiling information on how to start, operate and grow your own business.
