Although it is already welcoming customers, the new McDonald’s Restaurant at Kehalani Village Center in Wailuku on Maui will hold a grand opening celebration next month, company officials told Maui Now.

The eatery is the latest addition to the center which already includes anchor tenants Longs Drugs, Foodland and Aloha Petroleum.

McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaiʻi already has 76 restaurants and more than 4,600 employees in the state.

McDonald’s total economic impact on the state, directly and indirectly, is about $370 million in spending and nearly 12,000 jobs in the community.
