The Maui Arts & Cultural Center will present Trevor Hall on Saturday, May 30, at the McCoy Studio Theater at 7:30 p.m.

Hall began songwriting and performing when he was 16. He entered into the music scene with the song “Other Ways,” which was featured on the Shrek the Third soundtrack.

Hall’s captivating live performances and growing popularity have led to sold-out shows across the mainland. He has toured with Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, Matisyahu, Michael Franti, Colbie Caillat and SOJA.

In 2009, Hall released his Vanguard Records debut, which featured “Unity,” a song written and performed with longtime friend Matisyahu.

His followup album, “Everything, Everytime, Everywhere,” debuted on iTunes Rock Chart at No. 3, iTunes Top Albums at No. 12 and No. 8 Amazon Movers & Shakers. The featured single, “Brand New Day,” was used as the music bed for the reformatted CBS This Morning Show. Hall’s latest release, “Chapter of the Forest,” debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart and No. 17 on the iTunes Overall Albums chart.

Tickets are $30, $45 and $65. They go on sale to MACC members on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m., and to the public on Saturday, March 28.

To purchase tickets, go online or call 242-SHOW (7469).
