Grants Workshop (Lanai)_3By Maui Now Staff

The County of Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development will offer Lāna‘i residents a free workshop on OED grants funding for the 2016 fiscal year.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the ILWU Union Hall in Lāna‘i City.

“This is a perfect opportunity to learn all about OED funding, how to apply, and what criteria we consider when making funding decisions,” said OED Director Teena Rasmussen. “We urge our current grantees to attend, as well as any organization that might like to seek future OED funding.”

Attendees will receive an application packet for Fiscal Year 2016, along with step-by-step training on the application process.

OED staff will also be on-hand to answer any questions attendees may have.

For more information, contact the Office of Economic Development by calling (808) 270-7710 or send an email.
