Corrections Officer Recruitment Begins Tonight for Maui

The state Department of Public Safety begins a new round of recruitment tonight for Adult Correction Officers on Maui.

The vacancies are for positions at the Maui Community Correctional Center in Wailuku.

The recruitment will open via the Department of Human Resources and Development job seekers webpage at midnight and will end on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015.

To qualify, applicants must meet all requirements listed.  Applicants must be a high school graduate or have a GED.  They must also have one year of responsible work experience which shows that they possesses the ability to relate effectively with people in following the instructions of a supervisor and giving or exchanging information.
