Maui Fair Parade Applications Due by Sept. 2, 2 p.m.

Applications are due by Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. for the Sept. 24 Maui Fair parade.

Applications are available for download online and can be dropped off at the fair office located in the parking lot of the War Memorial Gymnasium in Wailuku between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Call 242-2721 in advance to make sure someone is at the office.

The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, from UH Maui College and ends at the War Memorial Stadium on Kanaloa Avenue.

Applications to participate as a vendor in the 2015 Fair with a Local Flair Products & Services Tent are also available online.

From its beginnings in 1916 the Maui Fair has become “A Timeless Tradition,” attracting locals and visitors alike to an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event that features multicultural food, first-rate entertainment, E.K. Fernandez Joy Zone, plus horticulture, bonsai, livestock, homemaking, photo and art exhibits and competitions.
