RootScore, an independent ranking organization, just named the Verizon Wireless network as the award winner for data performance at Kahului Airport—one of the 50 busiest airports in the country. Verizon has the fastest, most efficient network at Maui’s OGG.

RootScore bases its rating system on two core components: reliability and speed.

RootScore’s testing showed:
• All four networks (AT&T, Spring, T-Mobile, Verizon) recorded excellent reliability results during testing of data transfers, email and web/app reliability—but Verizon’s scores were nearly perfect.
• Verizon continues to record the fastest median download and upload speeds at 27.2 Mbps and 30.2 Mbps, respectively, beating three of its network competitors at Kahului Airport.
