The Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau has earned the esteemed Gold Service award for 2015 from Meetings & Conventions Magazine.

The award honors the top tourism boards domestically and internationally servicing meeting professionals.

Terryl Vencl, executive director of the Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau responded to the news saying the MVCB, “share(s) this recognition with our Maui Nui partners, who continue to deliver extraordinary Maui experiences.”

Readers of M&C awarded 81 domestic and 16 international convention bureaus and tourism boards with the Gold Service award distinction.

The selections were based on key criteria including: professionalism of staff; support on hotels and site inspections; assistance with ground transportation planning; guidance on local attractions; and liaison with local vendors and services.
