Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa welcomes Jeffrey Rayno as chef de cuisine.

Chef Rayno joins Executive Chef Greg Gaspar and Executive Sous Chef Les Barayuga in culinary operations for Sheraton Maui’s multiple dining establishments in Kāʻanapali. He started at Sheraton Maui in July.

Born and raised in New York, Chef Rayno started cooking at a young age and leaders say he is passionate about making thoughtful, flavorful dishes that bring smiles to peoples’ faces. “Chef Rayno has been a great addition to Sheraton Maui’s culinary department,” said Executive Chef Gaspar. “He brings a fresh perspective that combines creativity with a love for utilizing Maui products and ingredients.”

Prior to working with Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, Chef Rayno served as a sous chef at Pineapple Grill in Kapalua. He also worked at The Ritz Carlton, Kapalua as hotel saucier, club chef and cook. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2007.
