South: The south-southwest is expected to bring knee/waist high waves today. Breaks open to the trade swell could get up to head high or bigger on the sets.

Screen Shot 2015-11-12 at 5.37.29 PMAn advisory level east-northeast trade swell will continue to affect windward coasts through the weekend.

Our current south-southwest continues to trend down today.

Our current northwest swell is expected to peak Friday. A second swell overlaps and shows for the weekend. A slightly larger northwest swell is expected to build midweek but be rather short-lived.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
