North: Wave heights are expected to be chest/shoulder high in the morning and easing through the day. The best breaks could get up to head high. Trade swell focal points are expected to be well overhead.

West: Wave heights are below waist high today.

South: Wave heights are below waist high today with the best breaks possibly getting a bit bigger from time to time. Spots catching the trade swell could be up to overhead

Screen Shot 2015-12-17 at 7.27.10 PMOur current north-northwest swell slowly ease today into Saturday. A new north swell is expected to build Sunday into the chest/head high range or so.

A big surge in easterly winds has brought small craft advisory and gale warning conditions over the coastal waters. Trade swell will continue as long as the winds are up.

Nothing of note expected out of the Southern Hemi for the final weeks of 2015.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
