Numerous Weather Alerts Due to High Winds
A Wind Advisory is posted for all of Maui County through 6 p.m. Monday for east winds from 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph in our windiest areas.
A Gale Warning is posted through 6 p.m. Monday for all Maui County channels. Winds up to 35 knots and seas up to 15 feet are expected.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all other Maui County waters and channels through 6 p.m. Monday. East winds are expected up to 30 knots and seas up to 12 feet.
A High Surf Warning is posted through Monday at 6 p.m. for east facing shores with 10 to 15 foot faces expected.
A High Wind Warning is posted through 6 p.m. Monday for the summit of Haleakala for winds out of the east from 40 to 60 mph with higher gusts.

Strong and gusty trade winds are forecast to continue through Monday before dropping Monday night and Tuesday. Moderate trades are expected to continue through Friday before increasing again late in the week. Rainfall will favor windward and mountain areas with some passing showers reaching leeward locations.
Windy conditions are expected again today. Frequent windward showers are forecast in the morning then numerous showers in the afternoon. Scattered showers are expected in leeward areas. East winds are expected from 15 – 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. High temperatures from 78° to 83°.

East winds are expected from 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts. Low temperatures from 68° to 73°. Mostly cloudy skies are expected in the evening with showers likely in windward and mauka spots and scattered showers for lee areas.
