North: Wave heights are expected knee/waist high today. The best breaks could get up to chest high on the sets in the morning. Trade swell will also mix in at about shoulder/head high.

West: Wave heights are knee/waist high today.

South: Wave heights are knee/waist high today out of the south-southwest. Trade swell will be on the way down today.

Screen Shot 2015-12-29 at 7.12.30 PMOur current northwest swell is forecast to continue fading. A new west-northwest / northwest swell is expected to build overnight Wednesday and peak late Thursday, holding through Friday. A larger swell is expected to arrive January 4 – 6.

Trade swell is expected to gradually fade.

New south-southwest fills in Wednesday and Thursday.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
