A High Surf Warning is in effect for the north and west shores of Molokai and the north shore of Maui through 6 a.m. Tuesday. A High Surf Advisory is likely to replace the warning after it expires.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted for Maui County windward waters and most channels through 6 a.m. Tuesday for high seas.

Rather dry weather and light winds are expected over the next few days. Another weak front will approach the islands later this week. Winds are expected to remain rather light.
Variable winds are forecast from 5 to 15 mph today. Mostly sunny skies are expected with some cloud cover increase in the afternoon for interior and leeward locations as the sea breeze kicks up. Hazy skies are also likely under these conditions. High temperatures from 80° to 85°.
