Maui police responded to 9 burglaries, 8 vehicle thefts, and 18 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Jan. 17 to 23, 2016.

Of the 8 vehicle thefts, three of the vehicles have since been recovered.  The incidents were reported in Nāpili, Kīhei, Kapalua, Wailuku, Waiehu and Lahaina.

Burglary incidents were down to 9 from the 20 incidents reported the week before. The greatest number of burglaries reported were in Lahaina on Maui and Kaunakakai on Molokaʻi where two incidents were reported at each location over seven days.

Vehicle break-ins were up to 18, from 13 incidents reported the week before.  The greatest number was in Pāʻia with four incidents reported at the location.

Kahului:

Lahaina:

Nāpili:
