Lanaʻi City Service, known as the one-stop shop in central Lanaʻi, has a new look, new products, and new Plantation Deli to unveil Friday, Feb. 5, 2016. The grand opening celebration will take place at 11 a.m. and the business will remain open until 4 p.m.

With the February re-opening of a newly-renovated Four Seasons Resort, the island community is expecting an increase in visitor arrivals. For both the hotel guests and active day-trippers who visit, Lanaʻi City Service says it’s ready to share the aloha spirit through its full-service gas station, plantation store and deli.

“We are excited to better serve our community and island visitors with a new deli,” says Georgie Pederson, the Plantation Deli manager. “Our menu was designed to incorporate locally-sourced ingredients, to offer a fresh alternative to standard grab-n-go items like fried chicken. We wanted to create a place where the community can grab a quality meal and hang out.”

The Plantation Deli will feature a selection of freshly-made sandwiches, salads and soups to complement the current hot food menu. During the opening, customers can enjoy samples of shave ice, bubble tea and the new sandwich selection. Local-style musician Dale Kapua will perform in the morning followed by Ricky Sanchez Jr. in the afternoon. Attendees are invited to enter a raffle with the chance to win free sandwiches and $10 gift certificates.

Established in 1983, Lanaʻi City Service is centrally located on the island of Lanaʻi and it’s ʻohana of businesses is comprised of four different services: the Plantation Store, Gas Station, Dollar Jeep Rental, and Napa Auto Repair and Service.
