Molokaʻi Brush Fire Near Hoʻolehua Fire Station

Firefighters on Molokaʻi battled a small brush fire Thursday morning, located just 100 yards to the rear of the Hoʻolehua Fire Station.

Fire officials say the incident occurred at around 11:45 a.m. in a 20 by 50 foot area of brush between the parking lot and residential structures.

The fire was brought under control within minutes and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
