Welcome to Lahaina’s action, adventure, leisure and year-round sunshine. Lahaina is one of Maui’s most popular beach towns for residents and tourists alike.

Lahaina is super-rich in both cultural and historical roots. The historic town was the original seat of the Hawaiian monarchy prior to its move to Honolulu. Lahaina was known as Kamehameha the Great’s historically famous “royalty playground.”

Centrally located in West Maui, Lahaina is one of the top places in Hawai‘i for ocean activities, shopping, dining, events and nightlife.

Lahaina is also the best place to watch the North Pacific humpback whales during their annual winter migration.

Set alongside the coast, Lahaina’s Front Street is where guests can find a surplus of Maui ocean activity companies—snorkel tours, whale watching tours, sport fishing tours, surf lessons, kayak adventures and more.

Guests and residents can also enjoy ocean views while shopping, perusing art galleries, and dining at a variety of Maui’s best restaurants and oceanfront cafe’s.

Although Lahaina and West Maui are removed from other parts of the island, everything you need is there. It’s probably one of the most ideal areas in which to live on Maui due to its amazing offerings.

The only reason you would ever need to leave Lahaina is if you’re heading to the airport.

Lahaina residents are close to a host of action, activities and events.
