E Hoʻoulu ʻIke: Cultural Enrichment Workshops continues this coming Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a return visit from feather-craftwork artist Leonani Pahukoa Meyer.

Participants will be creating a feathered hairclip and Leonani will start discussions on Lei Hulu Kāmoe, an upcoming two-part feather lei-making workshop.  She will also discuss prerequisites including supplies and time commitment required to learn the art of feather-lei making.

This feathered hairclip workshop will be a hands-on learning activity, the public is invited, and it is free to participate, no registration required.  Participants should bring a glue gun and glue.

This program is made possible through the support of the Maui Historical Society, the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority, and our talented local Maui artisans.
