Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are slowly trending down all day with surf expected to be overhead to a couple feet overhead at the best spots in the morning.
West: Wrap from the northwest swell affecting some western shores today will fade further. Spots with northern exposure could get up to overhead or more on the sets.
South: Wave heights are knee/thigh high today out of the south-southwest.
Our current swell continues to trend down today. Saturday just leftovers are forecast for northwest exposures. This swell is expected to fade through the weekend.
A good sized west-northwest is due in Sunday and expected to peak on Monday before the swell shifts direction and begins to fade Tuesday.
A small new south-southwest is expected to fill in and peak on Saturday.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
