A High Surf Advisory is posted for the west shore of Maui through 6 p.m. Tuesday.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through 6 p.m. Tuesday for all Maui County waters except Māʻalaea Bay.

A very large north-northwest swell will continue to impact the aloha state through early Tuesday. Winds are expected to remain light through Wednesday. Another front will move over Kauai and Oahu Thursday, then stall and dissipate. Another very large long period northwest swell is expected to affect the islands from late Wednesday through Thursday. A stronger cold front may reach the islands early next week.
Today we expect partly sunny skies with isolated showers. Variable winds are expected up to 15 mph. Afternoon sea breezes are expected. High temperatures from 78° to 83°.
