Maui keiki are invited to come dressed as a turtle for “Talk Turtles” at Barnes & Noble’s story time on Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. in Lahaina.

Local author Gill McBarnet will start “Turtle Time” by reading one of her turtle books—The Brave Little Turtle. McBarnet will share the adventure of Nani and Lono, the baby turtles, and talk about our gentle turtle friends who lay their eggs in Hawai‘i’s warm, sandy beaches.

After a discussion on Hawai‘i’s green sea turtle, there will be turtle-themed activities for children up to 8 years of age.

Go online for more information or call Jennifer or Cindy at (808) 662-1300.
