The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Kā‘anapali received top honors in multiple categories in Hawaii Magazine’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards, which were announced on March 8, 2016.

The resort was voted No. 1 in two categories: “Best Hotel or Resort for a Long Vacation” (five-plus nights) and “Best Mid-Range Hotel or Resort.”

Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa also received honors in three other categories, ranking in the top 10 for “Best Hotel or Resort for Families,” “Best Hotel or Resort for a Romantic Getaway” and “Best Hotel or Resort with the Best Aloha Spirit.”

“We are proud to be chosen by our loyal guests and Hawaii Magazine’s readers as one of the top resorts in Hawai‘i in a number of different categories,” said Tetsuji Yamazaki, general manager of Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. “We strive to provide a positive, genuine guest experience and being recognized for our efforts is a tremendous honor.”

Since opening in 1963, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa has welcomed travelers to a world of relaxation and discovery in the heart of Kā‘anapali. Once a playground for Hawaii’s royalty, the 23-acre oceanfront resort is located at the foot of Black Rock (Pu‘u Keka‘a) and features 508 rooms and suites, 83 percent of which have ocean views.
