The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Kā‘anapali has appointed Ben Premack as its new director of sales and marketing.

An experienced hospitality professional with 13 years in the travel industry, Premack brings strong leadership, analytical skills and a history of sales and marketing successes to his new position.

Premack has been with Hyatt since 2003, most recently serving as director of sales and marketing at Grand Hyatt DFW.

“We are delighted to welcome Ben to the Hyatt Regency Maui team” said Allan Farwell, general manager at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. “His impressive background and experience with the Hyatt brand make him an excellent asset to the resort and we look forward to what he will bring to build upon Hyatt Regency Maui’s stellar record of leisure and business sales.”

“I am thrilled to join the dedicated team at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa and to call Maui my new home,” said Premack. “A fantastic resort on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Hyatt Regency Maui is the ideal resort to employ and expand my career in hospitality.”

Premack began his career with Hyatt in 2003 at Hyatt Regency Bethesda and worked as an assistant front office manager before being promoted to sales manager. A seasoned Hyatt ambassador, Premack pre-opened Grand Hyatt San Antonio in 2007, and then served as the associate director of sales at Grand Hyatt Seattle/Hyatt at Olive 8 as well as Grand Hyatt Washington D.C. He was then named director of sales at Hyatt Regency Philadelphia in 2010 prior to his most recent position at the Grand Hyatt DFW.

Premack’s wife, Heather, and two children, Austin and Emma, will join him in the coming weeks and cannot wait to experience Maui.
