Comedienne Wendy Liebman will perform at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s McCoy Studio Theater on Saturday, March 19, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Liebman took a class called “How to be a Stand-up Comedian” at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in 1985.

Since then she’s performed on Carson, Letterman, Leno, Fallon, Kimmel, Ferguson and Hollywood Squares, and in clubs throughout North America.

Liebman appeared in specials for HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime, and was saved by judge Howard Stern to become a semifinalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Season 9.

She lives in Los Angeles with her funny family and dogs, and produces “Locally Grown Comedy” at The E Spot Lounge in Studio City, a monthly show featuring the best stand-ups around.
