Burr has been on Maui since 1989. He is the general manager of Maui Kai Resort and holds affiliations with CERT, Condo Council of Maui, Maui Chamber of Commerce and West Maui Taxpayers Association.

Prior to his position with Maui Kai Resort, he was a portfolio property manager with Asset Property Management.

“I look forward to networking and joining fellow club members to give back to the community,” Burr said.

In addition to the opportunity for community service, the Sunset Club’s convivial atmosphere was a draw for Burr.

“I know my wife, Tifany, and I will enjoy attending all the fun events and parties,” he said.

Jim Fahnestock served as Burr’s membership sponsor.

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset is a volunteer service organization of community leaders. The club meets on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of each month at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Kā‘anapali. Guests are welcome.
