Verizon Wireless to Offer Free Device Workshops
Apple or Android device and tablet owners who want to increase their tech know-how and efficiency are invited to attend free Verizon Wireless workshops on two Sundays in April 2016.
Verizon’s wireless workshops are free and designed for all levels—from novice, new learner to almost expert.
A Verizon employee will be on-hand to lead the workshop and answer questions.

Android: Getting Started
This workshop will offer Android device basics. The workshop will include a review of hardware functions, email, social network accounts, device features, how to customize the device and more.
This workshop will cover the inner workings of an Android tablet. From beginners to advanced techies, there is something for everyone to learn in this workshop about Android’s unique features.
Apple iPad: Getting Started
This workshop will cover iOS7 and features such as Control Center, Notification Center, Siri, Mail, Messaging, Camera, AirDrop, Safari and more. Verizon experts recommend that initial setup is completed before attending the workshop.
Apple iPhone: Getting Started
This workshop covers the features of an iPhone. Verizon experts will explain features like Maps, Siri (not available on all models), FaceTime, the app store and more.
