King Kekaulike High School seniors are asked to register by Friday, April 15, 2016, for Project Graduation, scheduled after the commencement ceremony on May 19, 2016.

The $100 payment and completed registration form are due at that time.

Graduates do not want to miss this event, which will feature a special off-island guest appearance.

Registration form can be found in KKHS’ main office or in the classrooms of Ms. Kihara, Mr. Arakawa and Mr. Shimabuku. Forms are also available from chairpersons and online.

Turn in completed forms and payment to Mrs. Frerking’s office (10th grade counselor in Building A).

Requested T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed if the fee and completed registration form are not turned in by deadline.

There are a few scholarships available for students with free or reduced lunch who have not yet registered. Text or call Co-Chairperson Fanchette Robinson at (808) 757-4621.

The Project Graduation Committee is continuing to accept in-kind donations for prizes. Call Amber at 446-4469.

The committee is also still seeking items for goody bags. Call Jaime at 276-3267.

The next planning committee meeting will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 6 p.m. in KKHS Staff Dining Room.

The committee is also seeking donations of cases of bottled water and any prepackaged snacks (i.e. granola bars, chips, cookies, nuts) for the graduates to snack on during Project Graduation check-in.

Decorations and party favors in sets of 10 to 12 are also needed (no glitter or glass). Class colors are black, teal and lime green.

The next Planning Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 6 p.m. in KKHS Staff Dining Room.

A mandatory meeting for parents or guardians and registered students will be held on Tuesday, April 19, at 6 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria.

For more information, email chairpersons Fanchette Robinson and Kristy Matsuura at [email protected].
