Maui/Hawaiʻi 2016 Graduation Dates

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education announced its 2016 graduation dates for 64 schools statewide including public charter schools.

Ceremonies run throughout the month of May with more than 11,000 students anticipated to be walking in this year’s ceremonies.

In addition to the public and charter high schools, the graduation ceremony for UH Maui College Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Spring 2016 and University Center Graduates will take place on May 12, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the UH Maui College Kahului Campus, Great Lawn.

Private schools graduation dates on Maui include: Maui Prep Academy, May 27; St. Anthony, May 27; Kamehameha Schools Maui, May 28; and Seabury Hall, May 28.

It is comprised of 256 schools and 34 charter schools, and serves more than 180,000 students. King Kamehameha III established Hawaiʻi’s public school system in 1840.
