The Maui Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Installation & Membership Luncheon sponsored by Kaiser Permanente on Friday, June 17, 2016, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort in Wailea.

Gov. David Ige will deliver the keynote address and discuss the state’s support for small businesses and Hawai‘i’s economic growth.

He will be introduced by Platinum Sponsor Mary-Ann Barnes, RN, the Hawaii Region president of Kaiser Permanente, and president and CEO of Maui Health System and Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

Barnes will speak briefly about how Kaiser Permanente, which has provided healthcare to the people of Maui for nearly 50 years, is working to enhance the total health of the people of Maui and Lāna‘i, with the goal of enabling more residents to be well and thrive, or if they do fall ill, to stay on-island to receive the care and services they need to heal.

Mayor Alan Arakawa will lead the induction ceremony, then the governor will induct directors for the coming 2016-2017 term, honor outstanding volunteers and review this year’s accomplishments.

The cost to attend this event will be $62 for Chamber Members and $72 for non-members.

Register online by 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

Silver Sponsors of the event include the Bank of Hawaii and HMSA.

Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is located at 3550 Wailea Alanui Drive.
